Let say you can make a perfect first line out of all the teams in the NHL. Who would you pick? Austin Mathews? David Pastrnak? or would you pick Jordan Binnington? If I could make any first line it would be this:
Centre: Conner McDavid
To be honest, why wouldn’t you pick him? He can pass, shoot, and is one of the fastest players being clocked up to over 40 kpm! That’s 10 kpm faster than a school zone speed limit. He is great at deeking making him an unstopible force to stop. He has the most points in the league getting 74 points in just 48 games.
Right Winger: David Pastrnak
David Pastrnak is a great player all around. He is a great shooter and knows where to be at the right time. He is a great asset on a powerplay and will not let you down when you need points the most.
Left Winger: Alex Ovetchkin
If you have a team that can’t score goals, you have a useless team. I picked Alex Ovethkin because he is an amazing scorer and shooter. He can shoot, pass, and skate hard all at the same time making him useful. Beside, if he can score 65 goal in a year without a stacked team, imagine how many he could on one!
Defenceman: John Carlson
John Carlson is one of the top defencemen for getting points and goals. Most defencemen don’t even make the top 20 and he’s in the top 10! He is one of the best defencemen because he gets points and stop a rush any day.
Defenceman: Roman Josi
Roman Josi is a great point scorer and can hold up the other side of the ice too. He is around the 20th in points which like I said, is great for defence. Whenever he is on the ice good things happen and the game goes well. In fact, he has a great +- of 23 making him 5th in the league.
Goalie: Andrei Vasilevskiy
Andrei Vasilevski is a great all around goalie. He is a good size, being able to cover the whole net, but still flexible and agile. He shows up when you need him the most and can make spectacular saves. He has let in only 88 goals in 35 games giving ham a gaa of 2.54! he is a great player and will hold the back end of the ice.
